What you share with us

When you use Send to Goody, call, or ask to book a visit, we get your name, phone number, the design you send, any note you add, and the day and time you ask for.

In the Design Studio, what you type and any photo you attach are sent to OpenAI to draw a concept render. Please don’t upload photos of people. We don’t keep your chat on our servers; OpenAI may keep requests for a limited time under its own policies.

The studio makes 5 free designs per person a day. When you reach that limit, you can send the designs from your visit to Goody with your name (and your number if you want him to reach out), under a short code so he can pull them up when you call.

What we collect automatically

• A scrambled (hashed) version of your IP address and a small cookie that keep the Design Studio’s free daily limits fair. We never store your raw IP address.
• A random studio session id, kept in your browser tab, so we can count how many visits make designs and how many designs each visit makes. It isn’t linked to your name.
• A bot check from our host (Vercel) that keeps scripts out of the studio.
• Google’s advertising and analytics tags, which use cookies to tell us whether an ad or a page led to a call or a design being sent. If you arrive from a Google ad, the ad click id is kept in your browser for up to 90 days and sent along with your design so we know the ad worked. We also use Google’s remarketing lists, so people who visited this site or used the Design Studio may later see our ads on Google; see the “Your choices” section to opt out.

How we use it

• To call or text you about your design, make your 3D design, and set up your visit.
• To run and improve the site and the Design Studio, and to stop abuse.
• To measure which ads and pages work.

Calls and texts

When you send a design, you agree that Goody The Jeweler may call or text the number you give about that design and your visit. We don’t send marketing texts unless you ask for them. Reply STOP to any text to opt out. Message and data rates may apply. Agreeing isn’t a condition of buying anything.

Who we share it with

We don’t sell your personal information. We share it only with the services that run this site for us, and only for the purposes above:

• OpenAI draws the Design Studio renders.
• Vercel hosts the site and stores the design images you send.
• Upstash stores sent designs and contact details, and the studio’s usage counts.
• Slack delivers your design and number to Goody’s team.
• HubSpot (once Goody uses it) keeps your contact details and requests so his team can follow up, and uses cookies to connect them to your visit.
• Google measures ads and site visits.

We may also share information if the law requires it.

How long we keep it

Your contact details, note, and the design you sent are kept for up to 12 months, then deleted. If you become a customer, we keep what we need for your order, warranty and records. Studio usage counts contain no personal information.

Your choices

• Turn off personalized Google ads at adssettings.google.com, or block cookies in your browser.
• Use the site without the Design Studio or Send to Goody; you can always just call or visit.

Children

This site isn’t meant for children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their information.
